The board of directors of the Eastern Property Owners' Association wishes to compliment the village staff on the magnificent spring floral display. Although we had been told that the village had planned to plant 30,000 bulbs, we weren't prepared for the breathtaking result. The overall effect confirmed Garden City's image as the most beautifully planned and maintained village on Long Island.

Special recognition must be given to Joseph Abate and Stephen Garnych of the public works department. Well done!
