Board of Education Adopts Proposed School Budget:
Residents React Favorably During Last Week's Board Meeting
Garden City school board members adopted a carefully pruned school budget during last Tuesday's board of education meeting. Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Steven Leitman, briefly discussed what he called the second revision of the proposal before board members unanimously favored it April 24.

Once again, the recreation department will offer a selection of summer Youth Sports Camps for residents this coming summer. Held at Community Park and St. Paul's, the camps provide enjoyable, instructional experience for village residents. These camps are open to children who reside in the Inc. Village of Garden City only.
