Bring a smile to your preschooler's face as they complete their own craft project each week during this six-week program, which will be conducted by Grace Chianese. This program will be held in Cluett Hall on the former St. Paul's campus. There will be three 45 minute classes offered each week: Mondays at 10:45 a.m., Wednesdays at 12:45 p.m. and Thursdays at 10:45 a.m.

Classes will begin the week of March 19, and registration for these classes will be held on Tuesday March 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Cluett Hall.

The following guidelines have been established for this program:

* There will be a maximum of 15 children per session

* Children must be between 3.5 and 5 years old

* Children must not be in kindergarten

* Children must be toilet trained

* Children must be able to stay in the room alone

The cost of this program will be $24 per child. For additional information, please call Grace Chianese at Cluett Hall, at 465-4075.

Due to school district activities, the Men's Saturday morning basketball program will be moved to the Stratford School gymnasium on the following dates: March 10, 17 and 24.

The "Greatest Show on Earth" is returning to the Nassau Coliseum, and the recreation department has got your tickets for great seats at a great price. The recreation department is offering a supervised trip to the Saturday, March 24 show at 11 a.m. Tickets to this show are priced at $23, and although the promoter no longer offers discounted tickets to this show, these are the best seats available to the public. Your ticket price also includes transportation to and from the show via the recreation bus, so you'll save the $6 coliseum parking fee.

Discount tickets are available to the Thursday March 22 show at 7:30 p.m., but no bus transportation or supervision will be provided. Tickets to the Thursday show are normally $23 but are discounted to just $20 for village residents.

Tickets are available now in the recreation office in village hall. To reserve your tickets, or for additional information about the circus, please call the recreation office at 465-4075.

Always a Garden City favorite, the recreation department is proud to present this popular troupe of performers on Sunday, March 18 at 2 p.m. Traditional circus skills such as juggling, acrobatics, and unicycle riding are showcased in their funny and entertaining routines.

Admission to this show will be $4 per person, which will include hot dogs, chips and sodas at intermission. Advance reservations are required for this show. Reservations may be made by calling the recreation office at 465-4075 during business hours, no later than March 15.
