During the mid-winter recess, the Recreation Department will conduct a program for Village youngsters in the Saint Paul's Field House. The schedule for this program will be as follows:
* Boys and Girls: Grades K and 1 - 9 to 10 a.m. - Games
* Boys and Girls: Grades 2 and 3 - 10 a.m. to noon - Sports and Games
* Boys and Girls: Grades 4, 5, 6 - noon to 2 p.m. - Sports and Games
* Boys and Girls: Grades 7-12 - 2 to 5 p.m. - Open Gym
This program will be held until Friday, Feb. 23. Sneakers must be worn for all gym activities.
Due to school district programs, there will be no men's Saturday morning basketball program on Saturday, Feb. 24.
Additionally, due to district activities, this program will be moved to the Stratford School Gymnasium on the following dates: March 3, 10, and 17.
The "Greatest Show on Earth" is returning to the Nassau Coliseum, and the recreation department has got your tickets for great seats at a great price. The recreation department is offering a supervised trip to the Saturday, March 24 show at 11 a.m. Tickets to this show are priced at $23, and although the promoter no longer offers discounted tickets to this show, these are the best seats available to the public. Your ticket price also includes transportation to and from the show via the recreation bus, so you'll save the $6 coliseum parking fee.
Discount tickets are available to the Thursday March 22 show at 7:30 p.m., but no bus transportation or supervision will be provided. Tickets to the Thursday show are normally $23 but are discounted to just $20 for village residents.

Welcome back to the forgotten world of the matinee. The recreation department has scheduled some of the best in family oriented films for you and your family to enjoy. These movies are shown at the Cultural Performing Arts Center at Cluett Hall. The next film scheduled is The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, which will be shown during the mid-winter recess on Thursday, Feb. 22, beginning at 1 p.m. This is the feature-length live-action comedy which is based on the classic cartoons. The movie is rated "PG" and has a running time of approximately 90 minutes.
There is no charge for admission to the movie, and advance reservations are not required. For your convenience, freshly popped popcorn, snacks and sodas will be available for you to purchase at Cluett Hall.
