The holidays are a time for reflection and thanks. That is why I am taking this opportunity to publicly express my gratitude for being re-elected in November as your New York State Senator in the Sixth Senate District.
As we enter the Year 2001, each of us should continue to fight for a better quality of life, a better access to healthcare, continued quality in education, deterrence to crime and improving our environment, especially here in our hometowns on Long Island.
Since becoming your senator, I have had the opportunity to enact new laws to benefit all, as well as intercede thousands of times on behalf of residents. All of this has been a rewarding set of experiences. Thank you for allowing me to do this and for the opportunity to continue to work on these challenges
I wish you and your family a very happy holiday season and please know that in the Millennium I pledge to work toward an even better future for all.
Thank you!
Senator Kemp Hannon
Chairman, Senate Health Committee
