Pataki Signs Pesticide Notification Bill
For seven years, environmentalists have lobbied the state Legislature to pass a law requiring pesticide applicators to notify their clients' neighbors prior to using high-pressure sprayers to apply pest treatments. Their efforts were realized at a press conference held earlier this week.

2000 Soccer Camp Wrap Up
The Summer 2000 G.C. Recreation Department Soccer Camp recently concluded its 21st season of operation. The 436 campers, who attended the camp during the weeks of July 31 - Aug. 4 and Aug. 7-11, gained new skills and knowledge, made new friends and had a lot of fun.
