By Richard V. Guardino, Jr., Supervisor, Town of Hempstead
During the summer months, Town of Hempstead residents have the opportunity to enjoy all the beauty and excitement our township has to offer. You can find almost anything to do on land or at the seashore right here in the town, all at low or no cost. On summer evenings, why not enjoy our free concert series. Through the Department of Parks and Recreation, an outstanding lineup of musical talent will be performing in our town's neighborhood parks.
These concerts will be held all summer long at a park facility near your home. The performances feature many talented entertainers, offering a musical program that appeals to all segments of our population. Unless otherwise noted, all shows begin at 8 p.m. Concertgoers should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to ensure comfortable seating.
