Membership Application Packages for the 2000 season of the Garden City Pool are being mailed to all residents this week.

The Pool will open for its 44th season at noon on Saturday, June 10. Application Packages include the membership application, swim lesson information, and a colorful brochure which details all of the activities and events which will be offered to members this season.

Any resident who is interested in enrolling in swim lessons should pay particular attention to the new registration procedure, which is described in detail in the brochure and on the lesson registration form. All lesson registration forms must be returned via the mail. Lesson registrations which are hand delivered prior to June 5 will be held two business days before being processed.

Again this year, completed Pool Cards will not be mailed back to you, but will be held at the Pool Photo Lamination Center, where they may be picked up by any adult member of the family. Residents are also reminded that all members 18 years of age and older must show a valid, current photo identification and will result in the completed Pool Card being held at the Pool Office until such identification is provided.
