On Saturday, April 29, the Garden City Tornadoes (Girls U-13) defeated the Syosset Lady Riders in the most challenging game to date. The Tornadoes roster was reduced from 18 to 12 because of vacations or injuries. This left the Tornadoes with only one substitute. The Syosset Lady Riders were talented and tenacious, and had players to spare. The Tornado endurance was tested against a team that previously beat them 3-1 in the fall. FULL STORY
