Garden City residents who are students at Master Charles Water's Karate and Fitness Studio, recently participated in the third Regional Tournament which took place in Fishkill, NY. There are four Regional Soo Bahk Do Tournaments a year and one national tournament. This year the National Tournament will be in November in New Jersey.

Many of the students from Charles Water's Karate and Fitness Studio excelled and more importantly they all had a positive experience sharing in their knowledge and enjoying the camaraderie of the practitioners from other Soo Bahk Do schools.

The Garden City residents who participated in the tournament were: Alex DeMarchena, Hector DeMarchena, Matthew Mezeul, Alyssa Rosello, and Reid Rosello.

Mezeul won third place in sparring, Alyssa Rosello won second place for form and Reid Rosello won second place for form and second place for sparring.
