* Mandatory Coaches Clinic on March 25 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Paul's

* All players will be notified of their team assignments by March 31.

* Mandatory Umpires Clinic on April 1 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Paul's

* Picture sessions will be held from April 7 through April 13

* Parade/Opening Day on April 15

Applications for youth umpires for the Garden City Athletic Association 8/9-year-old divisions are still being accepted. Candidates must be 13 years of age or over. Applications may be picked up at the Garden City Recreation Office, St. Paul's or printed from the website.

Open registration for the 2000 Thunder Football (ages 7/8, 9, 10, 11 as of Nov. 30, 2000) season has begun. There will be an in-person registration at St. Paul's on Saturday, April 8 from 9-11 a.m. Applications are also available at the GC Recreation office, St. Paul's or visit GCAA Thunder Football on the Internet for more information and to obtain a printable application at http://www.gc-aa.com/football.htm.
