Am I the only one blasted out of my bed when that # train goes through the New Hyde Park station? I moved back to Garden City late last year and since approximately May of this year, have not had a decent night's sleep¬even with ear plugs!

I use to live in Westchester where we also had trains which blew the horn/whistle when passing over the same road as cars¬but it was nothing like this.

Recently, I took the Port Washington line to the US Open and back and noticed that line barely tooted the horn when passing a station similarly set up to that of the New Hyde Park Road station.
