Christopher Acheson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Acheson of Garden City, has been chosen to play on the 1999 Continentals football team at Hamilton College.

The Continentals and Head Coach Steve Frank are hoping to re-establish their winning ways in 1999 with 18 returning starters. A young but experienced team returning this fall will prove to bring a great deal of excitement to the hill. Coach Frank, in his 15th season as head coach, has established a winning tradition unparalleled in Hamilton football history. Under his tutelage the Continentals have posted winning records nine times, including a 5.3 mark in three of the last five years. Frank's record is third-best among active NESCAC coaches.

A sophomore at Hamilton, Acheson is a graduate of Garden City High School.
