John Maloney and Dan Doherty were recently honored at the inaugural dinner sponsored by the New York City Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, Inc. The team consists of the top 50 returning players in the metropolitan area as selected by local coaches, media representatives and the board of directors of the foundation. The foundation is dedicated to advancing amateur football at all levels for the benefit of society as a whole, through their Local and National Scholar Athlete Programs.
