Departmental Memos on St. Paul's Fields to Be Presented to Board
After deferring plans for the St. Paul's Fields for seemingly countless meetings, a step toward action was taken at the June 3 meeting when Village Administrator Schoelle said he would have Village staff prepare a memo examining the logistics of the enlargement of the parking lot adjacent to Cluett Hall and the installation of children's play equipment in light of the move to be made soon at Village employees to the cottages while renovations are made of Village Hall.

Committee Likely to Present Motion for Exploration of Homes for Parking
At this week's Board of Trustees' Meeting, scheduled for 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 17, the committee appointed by Mayor Hal Hecken, consisting of Trustees Kettner, Torino, and Bee, as well as Village Administrator Bob Schoelle, will be asked to present the motion they were asked to draft regarding the Village's next course of action in exploring the possibility of reversing their current policy of not buying houses on Tenth and Eleventh Streets.

Thirty-one students at Master Charles Water's Hwang Karate Studio, located at 122 Hillside Avenue in Williston Park, have received belt promotions after successfully completing a series of extensive exams.

Recreation Department News
The Recreation Department will again conduct a Preschool Ats and Crafts Camp for boys and girls 3 and 1/2 to 5 years old, who are residents of the Incorporated Village of Garden City. This camp will be held at the Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Cluett Hall, at Saint Paul's School. The camp will be offered in three, two-week sessions, which will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon according to the following schedule:
