The Nominating Committee of the Western Property Owners Association is currently accepting resumés from candidates interested in becoming officers or directors for the 1999-2000 term.

Those residents who are interested in being considered for these positions should send their resumé to Arnold Finamore, secretary, 134 Tanners Pond Road, Garden City, NY 11530.

The committee consists of Robert Bolebruch, Vincent Cascione, Salvatore J. Catania, Josephine Champness, Joseph Perini, Laurence Quinn and Michael Volpe. Quinn was appointed temporary chairman by President Gerard Lundquist.

The Western sector of the village is bounded on the north by the main line of the LIRR, on the east by the west side of Tanners Pond and Edgemere Roads, on the south by Cambridge Avenue, and on the west by Jefferson Street.
