Sister Patricia (Rita) Fitzpatrick, RSHM, of St. Anne's Parish in Garden City, died on Oct. 20, 1998. She taught at St. Catherine of Alexandria in Brooklyn, St. Alfonse's in Los Angeles, CA and Queen of Apostles in San Jose, CA. She was a first grade teacher at St. Anne's for 29 years and was the outreach coordinator. She received many commendations for her work with senior citizens. Sister of Joan and Raymond. Aunt of 12 nieces and nephews and 18 grandnieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's RC Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Donations can be made to the Sisters of RSHM, 50 Wilson Park Dr., Tarrytown, NY 10591. Daniel J. Coughlin, Esq., of Garden City, died on Oct. 21, 1998. He served in WWII and the Korean War and was a graduate of Niagara University and St. John's Law School. Mr. Coughlin was a trial attorney serving as Attorney of Record for the Insurance Company of North America. Husband of Margaret. Father of Margaret Trank and Francis Coughlin. Father-in-law of Marty Trank and Joelien Mahon Coughlin. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Chapel, Garden City. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's RC Chruch. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
