Obituaries
Winona M. Wurzbacher, 84, formerly of Great Neck and Garden City, died on Aug. 22, 1998. She attended Great Neck High School and graduated from the University of Vermont. She worked with her husband helping to run Wurzbacher Associates, a retail ceramics and supply company. After retiring Mr. Wurzbacher volunteered in the thrift shop at Mary Immaculate Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Frederick. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Terrie Wurzbacher and her son, Tuck; her sister, Hazel Sawyer; and her sister-in-law Luella Marx. Memorial service in Grafton, VA. Interment private. William H. Meyer, of Garden City, died on Sept. 14, 1998. He was the owner of Meyer Chevrolet in Ridgewood and a director of Maspeth Federal Savings Bank. Husband of Sheila (nee McNulty). Father of Danny. Son of Betty Meyer Bruce. Brother of Judy Hall and Lindy Prager. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Chapel, Garden City. Mass at St. Joseph's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 420 Jericho Tpke., Jericho, NY
