Agnes V. Bryan-Connolly, of Garden City, died on June 30, 1998. Wife of the late Charles F. Bryan Sr. and Raymond J. Connolly. Mother of Beatrice Burton, Anne Connolly and Charles F. Bryan Jr. Grandmother of 14. Great-grandmother of 12. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Chapel, Garden City. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.

Richard John Bambery Sr., of Garden City, died on July 1, 1998. Born in St. Paul, MN, he served during WWII as a pilot major with the 8th Air Force. He worked at Admiral and Panasonic Corporations as a national director of marketing. Father of Richard Jr., Michael, Robert and the late Michele. Grandfather of seven. Forever in the heart of Agnes Napolitano. Mass at St. Joseph's RC Church.

Robert A. Stebner, 59, of Sea Girt, NJ formerly of Garden City, died on July 2, 1998. Born in Cedarhurst, he graduated from Eastern Military Academy and received his degree from St. John's University. He served in the US Army Reserves.

Mr. Stebner was municipal bond evaluator. He worked at the National Bank of Commerce in Memphis, TN from 1979 to 1982 and the McGraw Hill Companies in New Jersey retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Municipal Bond Club of NY and a member of St. Mark's RC Church in Sea Girt.

He is survived by his wife, Martha (McLaughlin); his children Matthew McLaughlin Stebner and Jane Anne Goodwin; his father, John H. Stebner; his sister, Mary Daniels; and two grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the O'Brien Funeral Home, Wall, NJ. Mass at St. Mark's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery. Donations can be made to Friends of Special Children or to St. Mark's Social Concerns, Crescent Pky., Sea Girt, NJ.
