James Morrissey, 68, of Garden City, died on June 4, 1998. Born in Manhattan, he was raised in Jamaica, Queens and graduated from Pace University. Mr. Morrissey owned Morrissey Pontiac for 28 years beginning his car dealership in Huntington, moving to Woodbury, Commack and finally to Rockville Centre. His dealership won General Motors' top national award for selling cars almost every year. He is survived by his wife Patricia; his children Colleen Morrissey and Rose Morocchi; his stepchildren, Gail Lamneck, Edward Coviello and David Korrissey; his sister Margaret Brennan; and seven grandchildren.
