Garden City hadn't won a Nassau County Fencing Tournament in 15 years until this year. The team triumphantly broke their 15-year record and has brought happiness to fencing fans in the Village once again. Many who have followed the team's successful season credit Coach Dennis Daly, the 1998 Nassau County Coach of the Year, with the team's success as well as the students' dedication to the sport.
