The Garden City staff bowlers again challenged the Varsity and JV Bowlers and in an exciting match, the Varsity team consisting of Andrew (Ace) Gregory, Kevin Maguire and Doug O''Mara defeated the staff team by four pins. The Varsity team was led by Gregory, who posted an evening high game of 236 and his personal high series of 600. The staff team bounced back, however, and won the next two games to capture the match 1,596 to 1,525.

Other high scores were registered by Mike Corteo with 211; Bill Regan with 209 and 521 series; Tom Cross with 214 and 564; and Coach Ryan with 209, 217 and 618 series.

Once again, all participants enjoyed the evening and look forward to next year's annual event.
