Antoinette Russo

Antoinette Russo, 59, of Garden City South, died recently. Daughter of the late Nick and Mae. Stepdaughter of the late Mary. Niece of Vincent and Marianne Gerace and Frances Cutaia. Cousin of Catherine Louise Wallace. Arrangements were made by the Krauss Funeral Home, Franklin Square. Prayer service. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.


Jerry March

Jerry March, 68, of Garden City, died on Dec. 25, 1997. Born in Brooklyn, he received his BS degree from City College and his master's degree from Brooklyn College and a doctorate from Penn State.

Mr. March was an organic chemistry professor at Adelphi University. He was the author of Advanced Organic Chemistry and he co-authored Introduction to General, Organic Bio-Chemistry with Frederick Bettelheim. He loved music and opera and was in many amateur theater and singing groups such as The Gilbert and Sullivan Society of LI and the Village Light Opera Group. He was also a world traveler and read for the blind.

He is survived by his wife Beverly; his children David, June Price and Gale Ackerman; his brother Fred; and seven grandchildren. Mr. March was cremated. A memorial service will be held at Adelphi at a later date.


Sally Hautmann

Sally Hautmann, of Garden City, died on Dec. 25, 1997. Cousin of Sylvia Greenberg and Irene Feigelis. Arrangements were made by the Howard E. Williams Funeral Home, Hempstead. Services held at Maple Grove Cemetery.


August C. Stahl

August C. Stahl, of Garden City, died on Dec. 28, 1997. Husband of Rita. Father of Robert, Mary Ellen Bowen, Margaret DePrimo and Nancy Quls. Grandfather of seven. Brother of George. Arrangements were made by the Fairchild Chapel, Garden City. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's RC Church. Interment private. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
