Catherine Deane (nee O'Brien), 91, of Williston Park formerly of Garden City, died on Nov. 18, 1997. Native of Glasgow, Scotland. Wife of the late Patrick. Mother of Patricia Clemens, Diane Gaskin and Frances Carlson. Mother-in-law of James Carlson and the late Joseph Gaskin. Grandmother of Joseph, Brian, Christopher and Kelli Gaskin, Elizabeth Saltonstall, Fred Clemens, Dina and Devon Carlson. Great-grandmother of Christie and Kaitlyn Gaskin, Megan and Erin Gaskin and Davis and Brooks Saltonstall. Sister of James and the late William O'Brien. Arrangements were made by the Weigand Bros. Funeral Home, Williston Park. Funeral Mass at St. Aidan's RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
