If you would like to enjoy the fun of model railroading then Adult Education has the course for you. Children are welcome!

Starting on Tuesday, Nov. 18, Adult Ed is offering a four-session program on how to set up and run a model train set. This course is perfect for those who want to enjoy the trains themselves, as well as for those who want children or family to join in the fun!

Whether you are setting up a train system for the first time or whether you are expanding an existing system, you will learn how to operate your trains properly while finding out how to avoid common pitfalls. You will learn how to choose the proper train set, how to lay track, how to do electrical wiring and how to build a model railroad car kit and much, much more!

Adult Education is pleased to have David Ramos, president of the Model Railroad Educational Foundation, as the instructor.

The cost is only $20 for residents and $25 for nonresidents payable to Garden City UFSD. There is also due a separate check payable to David Ramos for the $5 materials fee.

Come and join us for a lifetime of fun! All aboard!
