Obituary - Paul J. Muscarella

Elmont native and Garden City resident, Paul J. Muscarella, a respected local attorney, died Oct. 11, 2010 of a malignant brain tumor. He was 47.

Best defined by his love of family, community and tradition, Paul is survived by his wife, Lori, and their four children, Jenna 15, Natalie 14, Matthew 12 and Diana 8.

Jesse Lehman, a successful printer who took on a new career in his 50’s and served for nearly 20 years as a volunteer lawyer, died at his home in Floral Park on Sept. 16, 2010. He was 95.

Rita E. Heller (Vishner) passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2010. Together with Robert Heller, Rita has six children whom she was extremely proud of: Bobby and Pat, Lori and Jerry Sutherland, Ronnie and Heidi, Lynda and Eric Wagner, Michael and Diane, Randi and Ronny Caputo. Rita leaves behind fond memories to her 14 grandchildren: Thomas, Matthew, Alex, Brandon, Zack, Hollyann, Hailey, Samantha, Owen, Jake, Hannah, Emily, Mikey, and Jayme.

William Bratton, of Floral Park, died on June 29, 2010. He was a veteran of WWII. Husband of the late Josephine. Father of Bonnie Jean Whalen, William Jr., Maryann, Kathleen and the late Patricia. Grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of three. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Floral Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held July 2 at Our Lady of Victory RC Church. Interment LI National Cemetery.
