On Friday evening, Oct. 20, Our Lady of Victory (OLV) School celebrated its 75th anniversary at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception in Douglaston. The evening began with a Mass concelebrated by Pastor John O'Farrell, Monsignor Charles Nosser, the Reverend Glen Kennedy and the Reverend Varghese Kocherry.

A wonderful celebration followed the Mass honoring and thanking Monsignor Charles Nosser for all of the hard work, dedication and compassion he has shown Our Lady of Victory School over the years.

Without Monsignor Nosser the school would not be what it is today - a wonderful place for children to learn and grow both academically and spiritually. A PowerPoint presentation prepared by Principal Peg Augello highlighted many special events the students participate in throughout the year. Graduates from all decades came to celebrate and enjoyed seeing photographs of themselves as students at OLV.

Special thanks to Angela Murphy, school board president, for organizing this memorable evening.
