Many people will not vote Nov. 7 since they think their vote is not important. If you were not planning to vote, please reconsider. If it were not for Senator Michael Balboni we would not stand a chance of stopping the Long Island Rail Road from adding another track through Floral Park. He, along with Senators Hannon and Skelos, have blocked it so far.

Mike Balboni is at the end of the ballot in position 16A, C and D so please start at the end and work back. Assemblyman Tom Alfano has also been very supportive; he is in position 17A, C, D and E.

Almost all the Republicans have stood with us in opposing this unnecessary project. Republican governor candidate John Faso (Row 1A and 1D) is publicly with us too. Please come out and support those who look out for you. This vote is a referendum on the third track. Send a message to our opposition that Floral Park/Bellerose is united and will stick to our guns until we defeat this $1 billion project.
