Assemblyman Tom Alfano was in South Floral Park presenting Mayor Angel Soto with a check for $26,000 in road improvement project grant monies for the village. Alfano was able to secure the monies through CHIPS and grant funding for the village.

"Mayor Soto does an excellent job with his entire board in improving quality of life for the residents of the village. They work with me proactively on many issues that make a difference to the residents," Assemblyman Alfano said, adding, "This grant money will continue to be put to good use for road resurfacing and infrastructure projects."
