On Monday evening, April 3, Bellerose Village Mayor Donna Sherrer swore in Rosaleen Shea and Michael Brandt as trustees. Mayor Sherrer also appointed Ronald DeSouza deputy mayor.

Five Trees Have Been Deleted From Removal List --
Several months ago, Floral Park Deputy Mayor Kevin Greene hosted a Magnolia Avenue road reconstruction project information meeting and also attended the South Side Civic Association meeting to update residents on the proposed project. In addition, he spent several days walking Magnolia Avenue, ringing doorbells and speaking with residents about the upcoming project but, more specifically, to inform them about a number of trees that would have to be removed because of the construction.
