There will be three additional flu vaccine clinics available to older residents beginning next week. Since flu season does not peak until February and continues into early spring, the Nassau County Department of Health reminds residents that it is not too late to get a flu shot. Flu vaccine clinics will be offered with no out-of-pocket costs. The clinics are available:

Tuesday, Jan. 10

2-4:30 p.m.

Roslyn Senior Community Service Center

1489 Old Northern Boulevard, Roslyn

Wednesday, Jan. 11

10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Kennedy Memorial Park

335 Greenwich Street, Hempstead

Friday, Jan. 13

9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Bethpage Senior/Community Center

103 Grumman Road West, Bethpage

The clinics are provided by the Nassau County Departments of Health and Senior Citizen Affairs and the Nassau University Medical Center. For additional information or if a disability requires a special accommodation, call the Department of Senior Citizen Affairs weekdays at 227-8968.
