Once again the greedy school district gets everything they demand. I am convinced we are a bunch of patsies and are being laughed at by the free-spending school officials who think they are entitled to our hard-earned money. I know I am wasting my time writing you about this but maybe one of these high rollers (with our money) will call me and tell me off.

I just want to say, year after year, the village and the school district ask us to make do with less and have a hissy fit if we would ever ask them the same. It used to be that they would threaten us with the old saw" "the value of your home will go down if you don't give us everything we want." Now that the taxes are so high that most mothers in our village have to work, they threaten with "we will have to stop after-school programs if you don't give us everything we want." I dream of the day the state audits these big spenders and tells us what they really do with our hard-earned money.
