At approximately 9:15 p.m. Wednesday evening, April 13, the Floral Park Fire Department was alerted to an alarm for a house fire at 22 Gladiolus Avenue. Once Chief Watts signed on the air, Nassau County Firecom notified him that he was responding to a working house fire. FULL STORY

A community remembered a loving husband and father, who gave so much to Floral Park's youth, during an April 15 dedication ceremony appropriately held where the late Ralph Amato spent so much of his time.
