The Floral Park Fire Department Doodlebugs presents the first annual Keith G. Fairben Old Fashion Invite Tournament at the Town of North Hempstead Arch, located on Evergreen Avenue in New Hyde Park, Sept. 26. The tourney starts at 11 a.m. Admission is $5, children under 12 are free. FULL STORY

The Stewart Manor Fire Department hosted the first Battalion Parade and Block Party this past Sunday, Sept. 5. As the parade wove through the streets of the village, local residents, standing on the sidelines, cheered firefighters on.
