New York State Assemblyman Tom Alfano, while in Floral Park to install Chamber of Commerce officers, presented the village with a $10,000 check which Deputy Mayor/Public Works Commissioner Phil Guarnieri said would help to defray the cost of asphalt resurfacing (not total reconstruction) of Birch Street.
