Anne Tweedy of Floral Park, mother of village trustee, Tom Tweedy, died Monday, Oct. 6. Past president of the Floral Park Women's Club and once the recipient of a Spirit of Floral Park Award, Ms. Tweedy's passing is a great loss for the community in which she gave so much. According to Mayor Corbett, "She was a tremendous asset and will be greatly missed by all." Echoing those remarks, Trustee Phil Guarnieri said it was sad to hear of the passing of the mother of six children, all raised in Floral Park. FULL STORY
