The Emergency Preparedness and Response Directorate (EP&R) of the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Fire Administration (USFA) have awarded $530,632 to seven fire departments in New York in the 16th round of federal grant approvals under the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program. The Stewart Manor Fire Department, which received $13,500, and the Bellerose Fire Department, which received $58,563, are among the seven departments awarded grants.
