The 2nd Precinct reports the arrest of two Hicksville women for alleged criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance that occurred in Floral Park on June 12 at 9:05 p.m.

Police Officers Timothy Ronan and Frank Leake were investigating drug activity in the Hicksville area. During the course of their investigation, Officers Ronan and Leake report that the defendants were involved in the sale of two packets of alleged cocaine. With the assistance of undercover detectives from the Narcotic Bureau, the defendants were apprehended in Floral Park, where they were allegedly selling the narcotics from their 1999 Dodge Stratus.

Both women were placed under arrest and found to be in possession of an additional 54 packets of a substance believed to be cocaine. Each defendant was charged with one count of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. They were arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on June 13.
