Twenty-four photographs by the late photographer, Kathryn Dudek, will be on view at Nassau County Museum of Art now through Sunday, May 25. Regarded as among the nation's most accomplished racing photographers, Dudek was a resident of Floral Park who died in a 1992 car accident at the age of 38. Each year since, the sports world has paid homage to her at an annual "Memories of Kathryn" race at Belmont Raceway. She has been exhibited at the National Museum of Racing in Saratoga, NY in the first solo exhibition at that museum for a female sports photographer. FULL STORY
