Assemblyman Tom Alfano joined 78 of his Assembly colleagues from both parties in blasting Columbia Professor Nicholas DeGenova over his comments in a Columbia teach-in on March 26 where he called for "a million Mogadishus" - referring to the small Somalian City where 18 American soldiers were slain in a bloody ambush in 1993.
