Earlier this week a jury found 23-year-old James Torres of the Bronx guilty of several counts of murder in the Aug. 15, 2001 killing of a Queens Village man at his Floral Park business office.

Nassau Board of Assessors Chairman Charles O'Shea, working closely with officials from the county's reassessment agent, the Cole-Layer-Trumble Company (CLT), in developing the first public access reassessment website in New York State, announced that he has called on CLT to remove the names of all property owners from the website. All property owner names have been removed.
