'We Will Not Forget!'
In memory and honor of those who made the ultimate sacrifice on Sept. 11, two Sewanhaka seniors, Lori Costello and Alberto Cortes, have painted a mural symbolizing the day. This permanent memorial is dedicated to the civilians, firefighters, police officers and military personnel who perished. Anthony Scott, social studies teacher, worked with Costello and Cortes to coordinate the mural.

FPCS Meeting June 12
The next monthly meeting of the Floral Park Conservation Society (FPCS) will be held Wednesday, June 12 at 8 p.m. at village hall. The agenda will include the status of trees for the arboretum, the children's garden under development, the various hummingbird and butterfly gardens under development as well as new components to be discussed.
