Police Urged Motorists to Drive With Headlights on Dec. 21
Kicked Off National Holiday Lifesaver Weekend --
Dec. 21, the Friday before Christmas, New York State Police urged all vehicle operators to drive with their headlights on to remember those who have been killed or injured by impaired drivers. Called "Lights on for Life," this traditional kick-off, held on the Friday before the National Holiday Lifesaver Weekend campaign, highlights the seriousness of drinking and driving and the loss of precious life.
