Elsie Ihasz, 92, of Conway, SC, formerly of Floral Park, died on Oct. 9, 2001 at her home. Born Dec. 17, 1908 in Papa, Hungary, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Esther Buzas Maga. Mrs. Ihasz was a homemaker and a former member of Christ Evangelical Church, Floral Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel L. Sr. and son James J. Ihasz. She is survived by her son Daniel L. Ihasz Jr.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements were made by the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Murrells Inlet, SC. Services were private. Michael T. Finn, of Floral Park, died on Oct. 13, 2001. He was a retired sergeant of the FP Police Dept. He was a veteran of WWII Patton's 3rd Army, 7th Regiment, president of St. Vincent de Paul Society OLV Council, member of the Knights of Columbus of Floral Park. He was past president of the following organizations: Floral Park PBA, Metropolitan Police Conference, tri-state Organized Crime Counsel, Floral Park Lions Club. Husband of Jeanne. Brother of Agnes Schug, Mary Mayer and William Finn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews big and small. The family was cared for by the Thomas F. Dalton Funeral Home, Floral Park. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Victory RC Church. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery.
