Hempstead Town Concerts Schedule
Hempstead Town Supervisor Rich Guardino has released the Department of Parks and Recreation's 2001 summer Neighborhood Concert schedule. All shows will take place at regionally located town parks and are free except for A Night of Swing on Aug. 15.

Centennial Gardens Tour Sunday
Due to a growing interest in the Centennial Gardens project, the Floral Park Conservation Society will conduct an open-house guided tour of the gardens and the vision for the future on Sunday, June 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tours will take approximately 25 minutes and will start every 30 minutes on the hour and half-hour. Here's your opportunity to see what the future holds and just what is one the inside of the fence.

Hofstra Hoopsters Team with Town for Court Clinics
Youngsters between the ages of 8 and 13 will have an opportunity to sharpen their basketball skills this summer by attending a series of instructional clinics conducted by coaches and players from the Hofstra Úquot;PrideÚquot; men's and women's varsity teams. A total of eight clinics are set for Tuesday afternoons throughout the summer at various Town of Hempstead parks, according to Supervisor Rich Guardino.
