  • SPORTS: Annual LI Sprint Triathlon Sept. 23 at Jones Beach

    Bernadette Castro, commissioner of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation announced that the 3rd Annual Long Island Sprint Triathlon and Relay will be held on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Jones Beach State Park. Awards will be given to the overall male and female, also the top five individuals, three relay teams in each division, top five male and female Jones Beach lifeguards, a Clydesdale awards category, and awards in separate age categories for male and female.
