Bellerose Resident is Named Valedictorian at Queensborough Community College
Christopher McNeela, a 23-year-old resident of Bellerose, earned the highest grade point average of some 1,200 graduating students at Queensborough Community College, and was presented with the President's Award during the college's 39th annual commencement ceremonies on June 16. The President's Award is the college's top academic honor.

That Long Awaited Bowling Dinner
After 36 weeks of trying to knock each other's blocks off, the Floral Park Knights of Columbus Bowling Club held its Season-End Bowling Dinner at its clubhouse, where the air was filled with fraternal banter and spirit, wiping out the "Brotherly Bombardment" that took place every Thursday night at Sterling Lanes.
