The formation of the Floral Park Historical Society is under way. At a recent meeting held in the parlor of the United Methodist Church local people discussed plans for the new organization. Attendees were (l. - r., standing): Clare Bryne, Dot Carson, George Bowen, Jeff Goldberg, Walter Gosden, village historian; Mary Minogue; Jane Trombley; Rod Minogue; and Trustee Ann Corbett; (seated, l. - r.): Fran Hornberger, Bernie Hayes and Jeanne Petta.
