Pathways to Women's Health of Manhasset recently honored three outstanding artists from Sewanhaka High School. The students, competing with other local high school artists created artwork celebrating a kinder, gentler, and healthier millennium. Michael Grisaitis earned first place honors winning a $225 award. Michael is currently a junior and is planning a career in psychology, he will continue taking classes in the visual arts. Two juniors won honorable mention, Christine Tully, who hopes to one day be a physical education teacher, and Samantha Roman who would like to pursue a career in psychology.
