She was born in Brooklyn in 1897. She worked for an agency that distributed food coupons during WWII. She was the clerk for the Village of Floral Park retiring at age 65. She was also active in causes to help the blind. She was a member of the Riverhead United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church in Floral Park. Wife of the late William Jr. Mother of Jane Danby, William Buckett III and Mary Elizabeth Kluge. Grandmother of 12. Great-grandmother of nine.
